Difference between Sprouting and Fermenting?Updated a year ago

Many people conflate fermented with sprouted. They are not the same, and we would say they are not even competition, at least not directly ... because they are quite different, qualitatively and quantitatively.

Our fermented almonds and cashews are fully lacto-fermented over 10 days using culture, whereas sprouted means soaking our almonds for no more than 24 hours.

Fermentation makes nuts savory, sour, salty, and umami - sprouting makes them sweeter. Although sprouting aids tremendously in digestion of nut proteins, it also has far fewer complete nutritional benefits than fermentation does.
