In our patent-pending process, we lacto-ferment organic nuts using select strains of non-GMO, vegan, and dairy-free cultures to reach the perfect level of acidity and sourness. (Lacto-fermentation is the process of fermenting something in a salt brine and refers to the creation of lactic acid.) Our fermenting cultures are all 100% vegan.
Then, we dehydrate the nuts at the lowest possible temperature, creating a crunchy shelf-stable snack nut that pops in flavor and texture.
