Will Heat Affect my Product?Updated a year ago
If your package is exposed to high temperatures during shipping, or before they make it into your cupboard, not to worry!
Jars getting heating up due to high temperatures is no issue for our product, its shelf life, or nutritional profile.
This is because it would be very unlikely that the jars would reach the maximum temperature of processing that they are already exposed to in production, roughly 120 degrees Fahrenheit, in the shipping process. Even if they did, the product inside the jars would have to reach temperatures of 160+ degrees F for a sustained period to start degrading to a significant degree, which is next to impossible in North America.
